Holy Cross Parish Outreach
helps where possible with rent and utility assistance for any resident of Granite Falls and Lake Stevens. The funds are provided by the
generous hearts of Holy Cross Parishioners.  Assistance is limited, but includes PUD, PSE, water bills.  No telephone bill assistance.  Must provide proof of rental contract and/or utility bill.

Located in modular trailer behind parish hall.  From Granite Falls, go approximately 4 miles West of downtown Granite Falls. 
Holy Cross is on the left directly off Hwy. 92
Tuesday: 2:00pm -4:00 pm
Thursday: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Community Voice Mail - FREE SERVICE to those in need

Volunteers of America in Everett provide a free community voice mail service, that turns phone lines into life lines! This service helps assist the unemployed looking for work, and the homeless. Users receive a local phone number, and they can record their own personalized greeting. They have the ability to receive/retrieve messages 24/7 from any phone. Users can utilize this service to aid in achieving employment, housing, education, safe communication, social services, health care, contacting family, and more.

Washington Telephone Assistance Program - WTAP
Connects clients receiving DSHS benefits with low rates through their local phone service provider; also offers reduced connection rates. Provides information about subsidized cell phone plans.

Snohomish County Energy Assistance Program
Helps with all heat fuel types, and heating repairs. It is not necessary to have a past due bill or your heat shut off to get help. This assistance include the Federal LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program).

Project Pride - updated January, 2016!

Project PRIDE is now administered by St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP).  Snohomish County PUD and St. Vincent de Paul share a decades-long relationship in helping area residents. SVDP is the county’s top non-profit organization providing energy assistance to PUD customers for many years. Customers seeking assistance of up to $125 per year can call St. Vincent de Paul directly at 425-374-1243. In-person appointments will be held at the offices next to its thrift store at 6424 Broadway, Everett, WA 98203.

Installs energy conservation and health and safety measures, at no cost to qualifying owners, and renters, that will help reduce heating bills, preserve housing stock and increase the comfort and value of a home.
