The Granite Falls Family Support Center, is located at 200 Portage Avenue, (behind McDonald's).

They provide:

  • Assistance with DSHS Applications
  • Assistance with Emergency Clothing & Household Items
  • Holiday Giving Programs for families in need
  • Assistance with Healthcare Applications
  • Resume/Cover Letter Assistance
  • Job Search Assistance
  • Utility Assistance (with disconnection notice)
  • Back to School Supplies 

These services are offered to area residents including parenting classes, Survival Budgeting/Financial Stability classes and ACE's training
  • Open weekly Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00p.m.
  • Closed on Fridays, and between Noon-1:00p.m. for lunch.

On the second Wednesday of each month, WIC services are offered (through Pregnancy Aid) from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Sunrise Counseling Services - For adults that are struggling with emotional, psychological and life issues:

Sunrise Community Mental Health is now offering mental health counseling at the Lake Stevens Family Support Center and the Granite Falls Family Support Center.   It is only for those individuals that are on Medicaid or eligible for Medicaid.  If you have a need of these services, please feel free to call and start the process of being seen.  

 The following is the procedure to receive mental health counseling: 

Call the Volunteers of America Access line:  425-212-3900.  Tell Volunteers of America (VOA) that you are in Lake Stevens or Granite Falls and that you want to be seen by Sunrise Community Health in Lake Stevens and Granite Falls.

Patty Putnam Mental Health Counseling, every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Patty Putnam accepts all insurances, and will meet with children as young as eight years old. For an appointment, please contact the Resource & Support Specialist, 360-386-9282.

Representatives from Refugee and Immigrant Services Northwest will help answer your basic questions, like
  • Cases of family unification
  • Help for refugees / asylees
  • Support and limited financial assistance with the citizenship application
  • Help to fill out and submit immigration applications
